当建筑褪尽了装饰，谁会成为空间的主角?

When the architecture is stripped of its decoration, who will become the protagonist of the space?

项目位于广州市下辖区增城区朱村燕岗工业园，毗邻广汕公路，交通便利。其背靠珠江，面向狮岭。

Located in Yangang Industrial Park of Zhu Village, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, China, the project boasts convenient transport, adjacent to Guangzhou-Shantou Road, back against Pearl River and facing Shiling Ridge.

项目面临的最大挑战，在于过境快速路的嘈杂与无序，对空间品质形成极大的干扰。已经在施工的两栋塔楼对项目也形成了体量的压迫和施工工序上的约束。

The biggest challenge of the project is the noise and disorder of the transit expressway which greatly interfere with the quality of the space. The two towers that have been under construction also post pressures on the project in terms of volume and constraints on its construction process.

为此，我们采用了一系列视线与听觉管理的策略，将人的体验"安置"在一个专门营造的"场所"当中。

Therefore, we adopted a range of sight and hearing management strategies to let people experience in a specially constructed "place".

根据场地的特征，采用了四片实墙、坡屋顶角度的控制，阻隔外界噪声干扰，在场地内部创造了新的场所的同时，将人的视线限定在特定的范围内。新增的墙与现有的建筑也将场地划分成四重院：前院，双内庭、后院。在墙与现有建筑之间形成的双内庭院，有效地将人的视线吸引和聚焦在庭院当中，从而达成视线管理的目标。

According to the characteristics of the site, four solid walls and the dedicated angle of the sloping roof are adopted to block the interference of external noise, and limit people’s sight to a specific zone while creating a new place in the site. The new walls and existing buildings also divide the site into four courtyards: the front yard, two indoor courtyards, and the back yard. The two courtyards can effectively attract people’s sight and attentions, so as to achieve the goal of sight management.

入口，由建筑墙面与植物界定的前院，开门见山地呈现给宾客，轴线向内旋转的墙面与内倾斜的入口空间，展现了欢迎的姿态。

At the entrance, the front yard outlined by the building wall and the plants, is presented to the guests directly. The wall rotating inwards along the axis and the entrance space tilting inwards invite people in.
